woofy basses is an original brand of GIB.
We manufacture and sell basses that "people who want to start playing bass" and "people who are buying a jazz bass for the first time" can feel comfortable picking up.

We negotiate directly with local factories in China to find the best price and quality.
We manufacture bases with thorough quality control.

After manufacturing in China and inspecting the products, we import them to Japan and inspect them again at Geek IN Box.
Only those that pass the inspection are set up by professional craftsmen for the electrical system and string vibration.

All wiring is done in Japan, using Belden wiring materials and Switchcraft #11 jacks.
Nut, neck, string height, PU height, etc. are all adjusted. Of course, this is also done in Japan by professional craftsmen.

Our goal was to deliver the guitar in the best possible condition so that it can be used for a long time.

The pickups, which are very important for the sound, were carefully selected to ensure a clear and distinct sound.

The front PU by itself produces a fat and lively sound like a Precision, the rear PU by itself produces a strong high-mid and rich presence, and the mix produces a deep and bouncy sound.

PJ basses are difficult to balance when mixed, but we have tried to make the balance as good as possible.

This model is useful for those who are looking for an entry to middle class bass (20,000-100,000 yen), but not for those who are looking for something that can be used on a professional stage.

Starting with the Cavalier5, woofy basses has gone through several dozen variations and more than 1000 pieces of production.
We are constantly working with the factory to improve the improvements that we have found.

In particular, we have communicated our requests to the factory regarding the neck and fretboard area, and the quality has improved dramatically.
We also ordered lighter, higher quality woods for this model, and kept the weight down to 3.6~4.1kg.

Unfortunately, however, the first lot of Poodle4s had some joint plates that were not attached precisely, and many of them were attached at an angle.
We considered discontinuing the sale itself, but decided to sell those with no practical problems.

Such problems were common in the market for Chinese-made basses priced at 50,000 yen or less, and were also found in many instruments made by other companies.
We made this decision after considering the fact that these basses were judged as good by other companies and we have been selling them as well. (We have actually seen such bases for a long time and have confirmed that they are not a problem.)
We hope you will forgive us for this.

Also, even though we are making improvements, we can honestly say that the fretwork is not perfect.
If you wish to keep it in perfect condition, we can have it refretted in our store.

However, please be assured that there is no problem unless the string height is extremely low.

We do not do secondary distribution (wholesale).
