Warwick（ワーウィック）はドイツを拠点とする世界的なギター・ベースブランドです。

近年はサドウスキーなど世界的なブランドのディストリビューションを開始。
多くの分野において存在感を高めており、魅力的な製品を多数リリースしています。

彼らがリリースした実験的な新作が、こちらのStreametteです。
文字通り、フラッグシップモデルであるStreamerと、フェンダー的なバランス感覚を持つCorvetteをミックスしたスタイルを持ちます。

CS・Master Buildシリーズということで、文字通り最高級ラインです。
今回StreametteのCS・Master Buildモデルは、4弦と5弦あわせて世界35本限定、日本への入荷は各1本ずつしかありません。
幸運なことに、GIBで4弦と5弦両方を確保しました。

主にホーン部分がCorvette的な要素を持ち、ストラップで吊った時の1フレットとの距離感やバランスにはフェンダー的な要素を感じます。
ボディの主だった部分はStreamer的なデザインなので、弾き心地やサウンドにはWarwickらしさを強く感じられます。

ボディにはAAAAAグレードのキルテッドメイプルをトップに、バックにはエティモエ。
ネックはウェンジとエティモエのラミネートタイプです。（4弦モデルは5P, 5弦は7Pです。）

最上位モデルらしくスルーネックでジョイントが採用され、”らしい”高級感があります。

ピックアップにはNordstrandを採用。
プリアンプは従来通りMECで、3バンドEQを搭載します。

従来よりも少しドライで、オープンなサウンドが特徴的に感じます。
しかしながら、基本的にはWarwickのキャラクターが色濃く、そこには伝統とブランドとしてのコンセプトを強く感じます。
