Tatchi Bass is a Korean bass guitar brand.
They specialize in producing Fender-style instruments, with a strong focus on the so-called Pre-CBS period up to around 1965.

A standout feature is that they develop almost every part themselves, from pickups and tuning machines to bridges and finishes.

They deeply analyze Pre-CBS Fenders and select the optimal woods, wiring materials, and metals.

They design each part with intention, controlling every detail of the bass production. While this kind of manufacturing is ideal, it is actually extremely difficult.

As you can see, the bass GIB ordered is a Jazz Bass type.

The body is made of the highest quality ash.

Ash wood has been steadily increasing in price in recent years, but this model uses it generously.

The builder said it is a premium wood.

The color is Blond, which fully showcases the wood grain.

The finish is a thin nitrocellulose lacquer, so thin that the wood grain is visible.

The neck and fretboard are made of maple, a very classic construction.

While the brand generally features satin-finished necks, this particular instrument was ordered with a gloss finish.

The actual finish is superb, giving it an even more traditional feel.

The hardware is original.

It features classic reverse-wound tuning machines and a spiral bridge.

Regarding the metal material, including the control plate, they refer to it as "Sound Steel."

It's a reproduction based on an analysis of vintage Fender hardware.

The pickups are original single-coil pickups.

They have black bobbins and cloth-wired pickups.

While it generally aims for a vintage-like character, it has a slightly cleaner feel.

It retains its trebly tone and boasts a rich, appealing sound.

It's simply built with volume and tone controls, and passive pickups.

The sound is truly the ultimate JB sound.

A powerful and expansive low end, a midrange with rich harmonics, and crisp treble.

It has a tight feel, but the range is by no means narrow. A fat, nuanced tone combined with a fast, responsive output.

Personally, I believe these are the very elements of a truly great bass.

A masterpiece showcasing the builder's expertise and skill.

If you sell your purchased item within 6 months of purchase, we guarantee the buyback price. The price is 50% for new items and 70% for used items.

●Defect Warranty

Basic Co., Ltd. provides a warranty against defects for products sold by the company. Excluding some consigned items, we will repair (or refund if repair is not possible) any malfunctions that occur during normal use within a certain warranty period from the date of purchase.


The warranty period is 3 months for used products and 1 year for new products.

Please note that the following cases will incur a charge even within the warranty period:

* Malfunctions and damage caused by transportation, movement, dropping, etc.

* Replacement of consumables.

* Malfunctions and damage caused by fire, earthquake, salt damage, gas damage, or abnormal voltage.

* Malfunctions and damage caused by handling contrary to the precautions described in the instruction manual.
