This model is an optical compressor pedal that maintains the functions of the U-II Ultimate Compressor, one of the representative effects pedals of our brother brand IBBI, in an MXR size.
This model has been popular for a long time, but this is Ver.2 with updates to the power supply circuit and wiring.
The specific changes from Ver 1 are that the power supply used is only -9V at the center, but like the previous version, the voltage is boosted to 15V inside, so there is no distortion and there is plenty of room to avoid crushing too much.
It has also been tuned to increase the sense of fullness from the low end to the mid range.
The controls are easy to understand: Threshold, Ratio, Attack, Release, Output Level, and Side Chain EQ Swich (Side Chain High Pass Filter).
