They manufacture high-quality guitars and basses in Nagano Prefecture, and are highly regarded by many musicians.
They are known to be the favorites of Hojin Egawa and Mike Porcaro of TOTO.
This model is Sugi's flagship model NB5.
The body top is Burl Maple, and the back is Korina.
It has a beautiful see-through finish and an exotic look that is very appealing.
The neck is a laminate type with a maple core, and the fingerboard is Indian Rosewood.
It has 35 inch and 24 frets.
The bridge and tuners are GOTOH, but they are not standard.
They were custom-made by Sugi and optimized for this bass.
The pickups are original humbucking type.
They are very highly rated.
Both pickups can be coil tapped, allowing for a JB-like sound.
Even though it has 24 frets, it has a characteristic sound that is not too tight and feels open.
This characteristic seems to have a positive effect on both finger play and slap.

●Repurchase price guarantee

Products sold by Basic Co., Ltd. are guaranteed against defects.
