Sire suddenly became famous as a brand that released basses supervised by Marcus Miller.
The quality of the guitars and basses they manufacture is extremely high, and they are highly supported by people other than Marcus fans.
This is the new product Z7-4.
As you can see, it is a model based on the Musicman Stingray.
The neck has a nice old-fashioned feel to it.
A model called Z3 has also appeared, but Z7 has a PU added to it, and the preamplifier can be adjusted in more detail.
The body material is Swamp Ash for the NT color and Alder for the others.
The fingerboards are Roasted Maple, Maple, or Ebony depending on the model.
The neck material is also used in the same way, Roasted Maple for the NT color and Maple for the others.
PU is a set of Sire Premium J+MM.
These can be mixed freely using a balancer.
The preamp has a middle frequency, and the controls are Volume/Tone, Blender, Treble, Middle/Freq, Bass (passive/active SW)
Originally, Musicman Stingray did not have a passive option, so I think many people will view this point as a positive.
The finish of the fingerboard and frets is excellent.
Naturally, in this price range, it is finished with a high quality that is comparable to those in higher price ranges.
The nut width is 42mm, which also follows the style of the Musicman Stingray and is a little thicker.
The sound is as expected, with strong highs and tight lows.
Until now, there weren't many options for this type, but I feel like a great replica has finally appeared. Recommended.
