While Sire is a brand strongly associated with the JB style, this model is the modern-style F10, characterized by its single-cutaway body.
The body top features Poplar Burl, while the back is made of Swamp Ash.
It has an elegant finish.
The neck is a laminated Hard Maple and Mahogany construction, and the fingerboard is Ebony.
The technique of laminating multiple layers of wood to create the neck is designed to minimize left-right asymmetry and individual variations, resulting in greater stability.
It is equipped with an original humbucking pickup and preamp.
The controls may look complex at first glance, but for bassists, they are logically organized.
