Sago is a handmade guitar brand in Hyogo, Japan, that specializes in full-order production, fulfilling all requests from customers.
The regular models (though most of them are one-offs) that they make by utilizing the knowledge and skills they have cultivated over the years are also highly appreciated.
The brand is also trusted by musicians.
Tabuchi of Unison Square Garden, RIO of Mary's Blood, and Kusakari of Sakanaction are among the Sago artists.
This model Ove been supported by many artists as an original model.
This show model was displayed at Yokohama Music Style in 2024.
We were able to secure it safely.
What I would like to mention is the beautiful see-through finish in spite of its metallic finish.
The material is chestnut.
This style is similar to the chesnut + open pore style used by Meta Guitars and others.
The raw grain of the wood is pushed to the forefront in contrast to the sparkling, elegant color.
The neck and fingerboard are made of maple and painted satin.
Tuners are GOTOH RES O LITE, bridge is GOTOH 404SJ.
Pickups and preamp are original.
It is a big advantage that we can design and manufacture these parts in-house.
I think this is the reason why the concept is so consistent.
Controls are volume (switchable to passive), balancer, treble, /bass.
Basically, the bass and fatness are obtained enough at the passive level, so it sounds good even if you use that as the main control.
Therefore, EQ is useful for both adding and subtracting. (It's not so common, is it?)
