Description & Condition
Description & Condition
adowsky is a New York high brand whose customers include top musicians such as Marcus Miller and Will Lee.
Metroline Express used to be manufactured in Japan, but after Warwick took over the distribution of Sadowsky products, the manufacturing location was changed to a factory in China.
The high quality has been maintained while keeping the selling price low, and the product has a very unique presence in the same price range.
When the Metroline Express series first came out, it did not have the Sadowsky logo, but that has been successfully changed.
This is the long-awaited new Will Lee model.
The body is Okoume, the neck is Roasted Maple, and the fingerboard is Morado (Pau Ferro).
The body is well balanced and the sound is well thought out, resulting in a very neat balance.
The neck has a satin finish and is smooth to the touch.
The 22 frets are another feature of this model.
The pickup is a single coil, and the preamp is the familiar 2-band boost EQ type.
The preamp base is almost equivalent to the top-of-the-line models priced around 1,000,000 yen, and we think this is a great advantage.
Controls are volume, balancer, bass, and treble.
A push-pull switch allows the active circuit to be bypassed for passive playing.
The powerful and crisp sound sounds a little more flashy than recent NYC models.
Some people may prefer this model for its sound alone.
It seems that it would not be easy to produce a product of the same high quality in the same price range.
Recommended.
