While Metroline Express models were previously manufactured in Japan, production has shifted to a Chinese factory following Warwick's assumption of distribution for Sadowsky products.
Despite the lower retail price, high quality is maintained, making these instruments uniquely compelling within their price range.
When the Metroline Express series first launched, it didn't feature the Sadowsky logo, but this has since been successfully changed.
This is the Verdine White model, already available in the German-made version.
The body is Okume, the neck is Roasted Maple, and the fingerboard uses either Morado or Pauferro.

The bridge pickup is a hum-canceling type, so noise is eliminated whether using the PJ combination or either pickup individually.
I've always thought Sadowsky's PJs offer excellent balance, and my impression remains unchanged with this model.
It maintains that characteristic P-style thickness while delivering a clear sound with slightly reduced midrange when mixed.
Using the familiar 2-Band Boost preamp on top of that feels incredibly satisfying. It strongly conveys that quintessential Sadowsky character.
