Description & Condition
Sadowsky is a high-end New York brand whose clientele includes top musicians such as Marcus Miller and Will Lee.
Until now, the Metroline Series was manufactured in Japan, but production is now handled by Warwick in Germany.
For Roger Sadowsky, Warwick is the ideal factory out of all the ones around the world.
The brand offers several lines at different price points, but this is the top-of-the-line Master Build/Custom Shop model.
The quality is outstanding, and it lives up to its name.
For example, the precision of the back panel, the spring mechanism that makes it easy to open, the sponge under the pickup—you can feel the love for the user in every key detail, not just the high-quality wood.
Among these is a very limited edition model, with only 35 produced worldwide.
This is my 16th one.
The MB24 is a 24-fret bass with a modern style.
The basic design of this modern-style bass was created by Roger Sadowsky.
Because the 24-fret design brings the neck pickup closer to the end of the fingerboard, the neck pickup is positioned slightly closer to the bridge.
I heard from him that changing the pickup position sharpens the sound, so the pickup type was changed to a soapbar type to balance it out.
The body top is made of the highest-grade 5A Koa.
It features a matching headstock, making it extremely luxurious.
It is the finest wood available from Sadowsky, a world-class brand, and Warwick, which has one of the world's largest factories, so it's no exaggeration to say it's the world's most exotic wood.
The body back is made of Roasted American Swamp Ash.
The neck is Roasted Flamed Maple, and the fingerboard is Black Ebony.
The neck has a beautifully grained, evenly black, and the fingerboard has a glossy finish.
These are other aspects that make this model unique.
The hardware is all black.
The body is finished in a gloss finish that brings out the wood grain, further enhancing its luxurious feel.
The sound has a wide range, and is designed to have well-balanced string vibrations from top to bottom, output by Sadowsky's high-quality pickups and preamp.
It feels more refined than the regular model, and is clearer and tighter.
Although it has a modern style, I think it will feel familiar to those who normally play Fender basses.
Why not take advantage of this opportunity to get your hands on a special, top-of-the-line limited edition model?
