Provision Guitar is a handmade brand based in Yamaguchi Prefecture that produces high-quality guitars.
It is known as a favourite of professional musicians such as Naoto Tada, Takayoshi Negishi, Ken Taneda and Kazuya Kojima (back number).
I personally find the high quality of Fender-style basses in particular very attractive.
This is the signature model of Aya Matsuoka, bassist of SHISHAMO.
It has a JB shape and PB PU.
The neck is also JB specification, so the nut width is narrower.
It is designed to meet the needs of those who like the playing comfort of the JB but prefer the sound of the PB.
The tuning machine is a GOTOH GBR640.
It is from the lightweight RES O LITE series and prevents the head from falling off.
The sound has a crisp texture, and those who prefer HIPSHOT Ultralite will like it as well.
The bridge is a Fender Spiral type.
Vintage specification.
The pots are CTS and the jack is Switchcraft.
Paint is lacquer, also authentic.
This is a custom model based on the Fender style that Provision is best known for.
