Olive Instruments is a brand handmade by Japanese builder Yaguchi.
The work is renowned for the luxurious use of quality woods and the neatly balanced finish.

This model is a Limba 5 with a double-cut body made from luxurious woods.

The body back is made of walnut and the top is made of shiny white hollywood.
This hollywood is a rare wood, but is also highly regarded as a tonewood and is used by brands such as Fodera.

The neck is a 3-piece maple laminate type.
The fingerboard is solid bird's eye maple.

It has a high C specification, which, combined with the slightly shorter 33.5" scale, makes the sweetness of the treble strings stand out.
The muddy sound provides a clear, less saturated sound even when playing note-loaded chords.

The pickups are dual-coil types manufactured by Humpback.
These are specially designed for Olive Instruments and are exclusive models.
Therefore, the finish is a purer reflection of the builder's intentions.

Controls are volume, balancer, tone, bass, treble, condenser switching mini SW and pre-amp bypass mini SW.

The body balance when set up is very good, so musicians should be able to concentrate only on playing.
The overall balance is beautiful, which seems to be one of the characteristics of this brand.
