This model is the signature model of Mitsuru Sudo, one of Japan's most talented bassists.
The body is made of alder and the fingerboard is made of ebony, a wood composition typical of Moon.
It is finished in a cool color called Transparent Red.
The thin, flat neck has an excellent texture and an appealingly smooth playing feel.
This model is the only one to feature a brass nut.
The bridge is a GOTOH 404BO-5, but the saddle is brass.
The gold parts throughout, combined with the finish, give it a luxurious and appealing look.
The pickups are the original MJB575, and the preamp is a Bartolini XTCT.
Controls include two volumes, a three-band EQ, and a volume bypass switch unique to Sudo.
