MJ Five is an ambitious work based on the traditional JB style, incorporating unique design details.
This is a so-called "Show model" manufactured by Divisor in 2023.

The top of the body is finished with beautiful fade-colored tochi.
The tochi has been attracting attention in recent years for its deep wood grain, which gives it a unique and luxurious look.

Momose also highly values tochi as a tonewood, and uses one-piece tochi for the body back.
The tone is said to have a low center of gravity and a bright tone in the low to middle range.
It is indeed not too dark when played, but has an open nuance.

The pickups are original Momose VJ5s with a passive circuit.
The sound, which includes plenty of shimmering bass and attackee, air-pounding treble, is universally appealing in an ensemble.
