Description & Condition
Description & Condition
Momose, based in Matsumoto, Nagano, produces high quality basses and guitars.
Momose basses and guitars are known for their beautiful looks and excellent sound.
Momose basses are popular among professionals and have been used by top musicians such as Kazuki Isogai and Kyohei Ariga. (Honorifics omitted)
This special model was produced for SoundMesse 2025 in May 2025.
The top of the body is made of Osaka-grown cherry wood, giving it a gorgeous look.
The back is made of Alder and the fingerboard is Ebony.
The black fingerboard proves the high grade of this model.
The paint is Top Lacquer finish.
The color of the paint changes drastically as the top clear layer discolors.
This balance of using a strong paint such as urethane for the base and a lacquer finish for the top, which is related to the looks, is really rational.
The blue coloring and gold hardware add an even more luxurious touch.
The fingerboard inlay is an original design with a motif of cherry blossoms and Osaka's flower, Sakuragusa.
The pickguard features an Osaka Castle motif, and the head features a design inspired by the “Senjo Hyouzu,” the horse mark of Toyotomi Hideyoshi, giving the limited edition model a gorgeous look.
The sound, which includes plenty of swinging bass and attackee, air-breathing treble, has universal appeal in ensembles.
This is a must-try for the bassist who is not only a hands-on bassist, but also for the bassist who wants to get a special one just for him or herself.
