Description & Condition

Momose, based in Matsumoto, Nagano, produces high quality basses and guitars.

MJ Five is an ambitious work based on the traditional JB style, incorporating unique design details.
This is a so-called "Show model" manufactured by Divisor in 2023.

The top of the body is finished with beautiful fade-colored tochi.
The tochi has been attracting attention in recent years for its deep wood grain, which gives it a unique and luxurious look.

The body back is made of luxurious one-piece ash, as is typical of this special model.
The fingerboard is made of gorgeous flame maple, and the overall look has a strong sense of luxury.

The PU is a Mojotone Classic string Jazz Bass and the preamp is an Aguilar OBP-2.
Controls are volume, balancer, tone, treble/bass, and preamp bypass switch.

The sound has universal appeal in ensembles, with plenty of swinging low end and attacky, air-breathing high end.

This is a must-try for the bassist who is not only a hands-on bassist, but also for the bassist who wants to get his/her own special one.
