We handled their first piece in 2021, and now, almost two years later, we have a new piece in stock. It is a masterpiece.
The design was refined and beautiful from their early works (and I think it is still in its early stages), but the updated details have made it even more impressive.
The S2 (the previous model was called Synergy) is the name of the model because of the updates.
The flowing body shape is neat and modern.
It is well-balanced when you hold the bass, and those who usually use Fender-type basses will feel no sense of discomfort.
The scale is 34.5 inches.
Perhaps it is an oddity of the design, but I did not recognize it from a quick impression.
The precision around the frets is very high, and it feels as if the fingerboard has been carefully prepared and the frets have been installed.
The beauty of this area seems to contribute to the straight sound without any stagnation.
The frets are JESCAR's thin and high type.
Personally, I think this fret makes the neck feel very smooth and comfortable from the left hand.
The pickups are EMG 40 TW and the preamp is made by HUMPBACK in Japan.
The sound is clear and speedy, probably due to the combination of the neat work around the frets and this electric system.
It is very trebly, but not too loud.
It may sound cheap, but it is really well-balanced, beautiful, and has a trebly character on top of that.
That is why the sound image of the bass strings is three-dimensional and organic.
