Description & Condition

Kanade SOUND DESIGN is a brand of Altero Custom Guitars, a guitar workshop in Shiga Prefecture, Japan.
Their top-quality technology is incorporated in key areas (e.g., the nut), and the lower cost is passed on to the customer by fixing the specs to a certain degree, resulting in an excellent price.

This model is a PB-style gem specially ordered by GIB.

As soon as you pick it up, you will easily feel the high playability and neat design of this model.
The well-crafted nut, crisply lined neck and frets, and well-designed settings all reflect the high level of Altero's technology and knowledge.

A beautiful and lightweight alder was selected for the body (the color is almost crushed, so it may be hard to tell, but the material was shown to us when we placed the order), and rosewood was chosen for the fingerboard, which is a smooth-grained wood.
The quality of the wood is comparable to the Altero brand.

The paint is very thin, so much so that you can feel the grain of the wood even though it is alder.

The bridge and pegs are GOTOH, and the PU is from Kariya.
The performance is good enough, but it would be interesting to change these parts and arrange them to your own taste.

The sound is fat, yet sharp and impressive.
You can get beautiful nuance not only with fingers, but also with pick and slap.

I think it will be very easy to play for those who usually play mainly JB or modern basses. (both in terms of playability and sound).
