Jad Freer Audio is an Italian audio equipment designer and manufacturer founded by Mauro Freddi and Giada Pezzi.

Mauro, an expert in electronics and audio engineering, designs electronic components that meet professional specifications.
Giada supports hardware design, and their combined expertise results in high-quality products.

Originally renowned for producing effects pedals, the company now also produces amplifiers and cabinets.

While primarily popular with European musicians, it is currently gaining rapid global attention.

LUCE is a vacuum tube DI released in 2026.
It is handmade in Italy and undergoes rigorous quality control.

It uses ECC88/6922 vacuum tubes, the same tubes used in legendary British consoles, and OEP/Carnhill audio transformers.

The built-in phone outputs utilize a circuit that takes advantage of the characteristics of vacuum tubes, resulting in a lustrous, three-dimensional character simply by passing the signal through the DI. While the LUCE is a DI, it's also a preamp for tube enthusiasts.

Using the SUM switch, the THRU OUT, designed for connecting a tuner or other device, functions as a second INPUT. In other words, it transforms into a 2-in DI (the outputs are combined).

The LUCE DI provides the flexible functionality bassists demand, while also converting the signal using a high-quality transformer to add the unique character of vacuum tubes.

● Repurchase Price Guarantee

If you sell your purchased item within six months of purchase, we guarantee a full repurchase price. This guarantee applies to new items and 70% of the original purchase price for used items.

● Defect Guarantee

All products sold by Basic Co., Ltd. are guaranteed against defects. With the exception of some consignment items, we will repair any malfunctions that occur during normal use within the warranty period free of charge (returns and refunds will only be accepted if repairs are not possible).

The warranty period is three months for used products and one year for new products.

Please note that repairs will incur a fee even during the warranty period in the following cases:

- Malfunctions or damage caused by transportation, movement, dropping, etc.
- Replacement of consumables.

- Breakdowns or damage caused by handling that violates the precautions in the instruction manual.
