HEX Guitars is a Korea-based brand specializing in instruments in the entry to mid-price range.
The company operates its own factory in Indonesia, where Korean staff members are stationed on-site to maintain a high level of quality control.
Rather than outsourcing production to third-party factories, the brand’s leadership is directly involved in the manufacturing process.

The JB100CE is a simply designed bass that incorporates elements of acoustic instrument styling.
The body top is made of Spruce, a standard tonewood for acoustic instruments.
Its bright appearance and excellent acoustic properties have made it a popular choice among many renowned brands such as Martin and Taylor.
The body back and sides are constructed from African Sapele.
Sapele is frequently used for acoustic guitar bodies and is particularly well known as a preferred wood of Taylor.
While Sapele shares many tonal characteristics with Mahogany, its higher density produces a brighter and more articulate sound.
The neck is made of Indonesian Mahogany, and the fingerboard is Indian Rosewood.
This combination is commonly seen in Indonesian-made guitars and basses from brands such as HEX, Yamaha, and Ibanez.
These tonewoods are highly regarded for instrument construction and can be considered reliable, high-quality materials.
Equipped with a Fishman Presys II preamp, this bass offers easy line output, making it well suited for recording and live performance.

In this case, we will refund the full purchase price of the item; we simply ask that you cover the return shipping costs.
