HEX Guitars is a Korea-based brand that specializes in products in the entry to middle class price range.
They have their own factory in Indonesia and do their own manufacturing. This is what differentiates HEX Guitars from other brands that generally manufacture their products on an OEM basis.
Because they are so passionate about their products that they do not leave them to other companies' factories but enter the field themselves, they are able to manufacture guitars of such high quality that you would never guess from the price.
The B Series lineup features models that are inspired by classic characters but mixed with modern specs.
This B365 is a modern 5-string JB model.
The body back is made of Indonesian Mahogany and the top is made of Burl Maple.
The Indonesian Mahogany has a weight and tone suitable for the instrument, and has come in handy in recent years.
The Burl Maple top is very beautiful, and the see-through color accentuates it, creating an elegant atmosphere.
Roasted maple is used for the neck.
Roasted wood, or Thermo wood, is a new material popularized by Sago new material guitars in Japan.
It was originally developed using Finnish technology as a wood for making saunas.
Treating it at high temperatures volatilizes the water and oil inside the wood, making it highly stable even at high temperatures and high humidity.
In terms of sound, it gives the impression of a richer, more mature sound.
In addition, two carbon fiber rods are built into the neck for added strength.
The fingerboard is made of Indian Rosewood, and the fingerboard R is relatively flat at 16".
The neck is a thin C-shape.
The scale is 35".
This scale is characterized by a stronger bass note than the 34" scale, which is in line with the modern concept of the design.
The PU is the original single coil.
They use the original PU in many of their models.
This is not because they want to cut costs, but because they are confident in the quality of the PUs they design themselves.
The staff members who know music and play music on a daily basis have thoroughly researched and designed many elements such as magnets, wires, bobbins, and so on.
The first thing you will notice is the high playability of the PU.
It is very easy to play and stress-free.
The sound has a strong sense of pitch, and the clear articulation in the lower registers is reassuring.
It is very useful for gospel, R&B, and aggressive rock ensembles.
The basic quality of the neck area is very high, making it easy to play, and it would be difficult to say that it is inferior to more expensive instruments.
Overall, this is a great product with high quality in looks, playability, and sound.

As a side note, I met them at the Sound Messe in Osaka, 2024.
At first I misheard the price as 6000USD and put the deal on hold, thinking "the quality is high, but so is the price.
However, I later realized that I had misheard and that the price was actually 600 USD, so I contacted them immediately.
A few days later, we had another meeting in Seoul and agreed that GIB, TONIQ would be responsible for HEX's commercial distribution in the Japanese market.
Since then, we have had frequent meetings with them, and we have finally managed to start sales this time.
Please look forward to the new product.
