Description & Condition
GIB BASIC is a brand produced by Bass Shop Geek IN Box itself.
The concept is to create products that can become staples, as the name "BASIC" suggests, by achieving both high quality and an accessible price.
These are bass strings. While strings used to be very affordable, the price has risen sharply, becoming a major concern for bassists.
In this project, while keeping the price to a minimum was a priority, we also believed that the quality had to exceed a certain standard. After all, even if they're cheap, they're useless if they don't meet a minimum quality standard for professional use.
For this development, we conducted on-site negotiations with many factories in China, obtained dozens of samples, and tested them. From these, we selected factories with high quality and proceeded with production.
As a result, while the price doesn't quite reach the lowest levels on the market, we feel that the quality is quite good. In fact, we use these strings as replacement strings in our shop.
Currently, the wholesale price is not feasible, so we are only selling directly from GIB.
