Freedom is a Tokyo-based guitar workshop that has gained overwhelming support from professional musicians in Japan, and in recent years their name has begun to spread overseas as well.

Originally highly regarded for their repair work, they are now focusing on manufacturing, and their works are loved by many musicians for their high quality and rational design sense.

The bass can be selected from 40Hz or 60Hz, the middle from 200Hz-2kHz, and the treble from 4kHz or 6kHz.
(The middle is controlled by a knob on the top of the body, and the bass and treble are controlled by a built-in DIP switch.)

Since the voltage is boosted internally, a significant boost range and clear sound can be obtained despite the 9V power supply specification.

This preamp has the impression of being for the experts, but it encompasses much of what bassists are looking for.
