Freedom is a Tokyo-based guitar workshop that has gained overwhelming support from professional musicians in Japan, and in recent years their name has begun to spread overseas as well.
Originally highly regarded for their repair work, they are now focusing on manufacturing, and their works are loved by many musicians for their high quality and rational sense of design.
All of the brand's basses are manufactured in Tokyo.
The wood used is carefully selected through strict quality control, and no wood that does not meet their standards is used in their products.
This quality control is only possible because we are a small workshop.
In this sense, the quality of our products is fundamentally different from those made in large factories.
This is a custom-ordered product by GIB.
This is a replica of PB with special coloring.
The color is GIB's original metallic pink based on the Shinobi (SHINOBI) series.
The finish emphasizes the grain of the beautiful ash body while using a lighter burgundy color as a base.
To avoid making it too pretty, we chose a black pickguard.
This could be cool in tortoiseshell.
The body is Light Ash 2P.
The wood was carefully selected to achieve this special coloring. It is very lightweight.
The fingerboard is Rosewood and the matching frets are Eternal Fret Warm.
This fret is made of stainless steel, which is one of the softest formulations.
It plays like nickel and has the eternal shine of stainless steel.
As for the coating, the body is urethane, which combines hardness, thinness, and high transparency.
We have great confidence in the quality of FCGR's urethane coating, which has a charm not found in lacquers.
There is no doubt about the quality of its texture, sound, and playability when actually played, and we do not want you to think of this point as necessarily negative.
The neck is lacquered, with a texture somewhere between gloss and satin.
This is a good choice for those who like vintage Fenders.
The PU is the well known FCGR original vintage model.
The lightweight light ash gives the guitar an irresistible response.
On top of that, the sound has a bouncy feel that plays around like a rubber mallet.
Despite being trebly, the bass is ample.
I feel that the greatest appeal of FCGR is its sense of balancing the high playability, the high basic quality of the sound, and the vintage feel in the greatest common denominator.
This is one of the best as expected.
It is one of my personal favorites that I would like to take home with me.
