Description & Condition

Freedom is a Tokyo-based guitar workshop that has gained overwhelming support from professional musicians in Japan, and in recent years their name has begun to spread overseas as well.

Originally highly regarded for their repair work, they are now focusing on manufacturing, and their works are loved by many musicians for their high quality and rational sense of design.

All of the brand's basses are manufactured in Tokyo.
The wood used is carefully selected through strict quality control, and no wood that does not meet their standards is used in their products.

We believe that this kind of quality control is possible only because we are a small workshop.
In this sense, the quality of our products is fundamentally different from those made in large factories.

This new model is based on the P-bass style that has been fully introduced.

The bridge is made of machined brass, the pickguard is unique, and the PU is made in house.

The basic sound is similar to the P-bass, but speedier and more powerful.
The balance between the sharpness of the high frequencies and the low frequencies is superb.

Another point worth mentioning is its high playability.
P-basses require a trade-off between sound and playability to some extent, but with this model, the conceptual sound can be obtained while maintaining high playability.

The frets are respectfully made of stainless steel and WARM type.
Stainless steel frets are sometimes negatively evaluated in terms of sound, but this bass proves that there is no need to worry about this brand.

It is hard to accept new things, especially when it comes to the style of P-bass, but this one is worth a try.
