EVERTONE PICKUP is a new Japanese pickup brand.
It is characterised by a design that takes into account vintage guitar sounds, behaviour suitable for recording and envelope curves (the way the volume changes).
We heard that Muu-san (Suspended 4th) recently introduced this product.
In fact, he told us that he likes it, as the speedy feel of the system suits his style.
So the envelope curve, which is one of EVERTONE's themes, is exactly what he appreciates.
This model is a repression pick-up for 5-string jazz basses.
The basic concept is to design an envelope curve, which aims to control the moment of peak attack.
The NEWTONE Normal is suitable for classic styles such as blues and hard rock, while the NEWTONE Class-S is suitable for modern styles.
There is a difference in attack-to-peak speed, with the Normal being about the same as a standard pick-up and the Class-S being the fastest.
In other words, the Class-S is suitable for those who play a lot of fast BPM songs or play slap and other techniques that produce a fast attack.
The newly released NEWTONE Class-S Gene is based on the Class-S and aims for smoother decay.
It has a slightly added comp feel to it.
There is a price difference between them, but it does not seem to be a grade difference.
