This model is an active type balancer system.

Conventional passive type balancer systems cause the two signals to interact with each other, resulting in a small amount of signal loss.

However, with this system, independent volume control and mixing is possible, just like a mixer's PAN.

There are two versions of this system: ABC and ABC-X.
The differences between them are as follows

ABC = Two PUs with different impedances can be mixed.
ABC-X = Two PUs with the same impedance can be mixed.

Since this model is an ABC, it is possible to mix a passive Duncan with an active EMG, for example.

When combined with a system such as the PB-4, it is possible to perform rough tricks such as mixing a passive piezo PU and an EMG, for example.
This system is recommended for double bass players.
