DR is one of the world's oldest guitar string manufacturers.
Bootsy Collins, Fieldy, Melvin Lee Davis, Etienne Mbappe and others are known to use DR.
This is Dragon Skin+, a new product that has been attracting attention even before its release.
What makes it unique is a new technology called Accurate Core Technology.
It uses a round core unique to DR, and a groove for winding is created around the core.
This allows the winding and core wire to be more accurately connected.
This is a model that uses Stainless for the winding.
When using Stainless as a material, I think you are concerned about the feel of the product.
In fact, Stainless's unique rough texture is thin and there is nothing unpleasant about it.
This surprised me in a good way.
Also, the Stainless model in particular feels quite soft.
The sound is crisp and bright like Stainless, and has a massive low end. It's pretty good.
Coated strings often have a subdued treble range, so this is probably an attractive point.
It has a supple texture typical of a round core, which left a good impression on me.
It's also good that even though it's a coated string, you can ground the string without any problems.
Overall, it's an excellent product with high quality that befits a modern new product.
