Delano is a leading German bass pickup brand.
Specializing in modern styles, they have become so popular in recent years that they are featured in many high-end basses.
This model is made from Alnico 5 and features large pole pieces.
This pickup is for a 4-string bassoon and has a white pickup cover.
The larger pole pieces allow for a different magnetic field design than conventional pickups, capturing every movement of the string.
For example, even the large amplitude string vibrations of downtuned instruments can be clearly output without loss.
All Delano pickups share a powerful midrange.
This rich midrange effectively enhances the sense of attack and the bass's position in an ensemble.
While classic Fender pickups in particular have traditionally focused on recreating the old-fashioned sound, Delano offers a different approach.
