バッカスは長野県に拠点を置く日本のブランドです。
バッカスは飛鳥工場という大きなギター工場を所有するディバイザー傘下のブランドで、同工場が自社で生産を手掛けていることから、そのクオリティの高さから多くのミュージシャンから高い評価を受けています。
本モデルは、高品質を追求し独自に製造されているグローバルシリーズのWOODLINEモデルです。
最大の特徴は、ネックに使用されているローステッドメイプルです。
ローステッドメイプルは、高温処理により木材内部の水分や油分を揮発させることで強固な安定性を獲得した木材です。
もともとフィンランドではサウナの建材として使われていたこともあり、特に高温多湿に強いのが特徴です。
同ブランドらしく超滑らかな弾き心地が特徴で、音も滑らかです。
ローステッドメイプルは立ち上がりがスムーズで心地よい音色で知られていますが、本モデルも例外ではありません。
力強いサウンドでありながら、レスポンスも滑らかです。
弾き心地も良く、いつまでも弾いていたくなる楽器です。
