16 Bass Guitars is a bass guitar brand founded by professional bassist Ichiro Fujiya, known for his YouTube channel "16 Bass Lesson."
As a bassist himself, Fujitani aims to recreate the playability and sound of vintage basses that he found appealing after playing many different basses.
Manufacturing is handled by Red House Guitars, with development involving Natori Onzo.
The quality is, needless to say, guaranteed.
The Jiminy JB, as you can see, is a model based on the Jazz Bass.
This model comes in three variations: Standard, Contemporary, and Vintage.
This is the Contemporary model.
It features the most modern tuning.
The body is made of alder, and the fingerboard is rosewood, a classic wood combination inspired by vintage Fenders from the 1960s.
The finish is lacquer, and the color is Evergreen.
Natori Onzo was heavily involved in the electronics and sound shaping, employing carefully selected vintage parts and the "Hard Candy" tone-enhancing filter.
Hard Candy is known for its use in the brand's Occult Dip Box.
The controls are somewhat unique, consisting of a master volume and balancer.
The tone control has been simplified by eliminating the tone control.
The powerful low end and crisp treble, characteristic of a JB-type guitar, are appealing.
There's also a clarity derived from a slightly defined, tight texture.
However, rather than a modern tightness, it's more like a mid-60s vintage Fender with an extremely refined setup.
For those who prefer this style, this product should definitely be considered.

Instruments purchased from our store are eligible for lifetime free "String Vibration Setup" (normally ¥4,400). (Reservation required)
・Please present your warranty card with your name filled in.
・Only applicable to the person who purchased the instrument at a GIB or TONIQ physical store or online shop.
・Please bear the cost of shipping and other miscellaneous expenses.
●Re-purchase Price Guarantee
If you sell your purchased item within 6 months of purchase, we guarantee the buyback price. The price is 50% for new items and 70% for used items.
●Defect Warranty
Basic Co., Ltd. provides a warranty against defects for products sold by the company. With the exception of some items such as consigned goods, we will repair (or refund if repair is not possible) any malfunctions that occur during normal use within a certain warranty period from the date of purchase free of charge.
The warranty period is 3 months for used products and 1 year for new products.
Please note that the following cases will incur a charge even within the warranty period:
* Malfunctions and damage caused by transportation, movement, dropping, etc.
* Replacement of consumables.
* Malfunctions and damage caused by fire, earthquake, salt damage, gas damage, or abnormal voltage.
* Malfunctions and damage caused by handling contrary to the precautions described in the instruction manual.
* Malfunctions or damage to parts repaired or modified by a party other than our company.
* If the warranty certificate does not have your name, model name, serial number, etc. filled in, or if the wording has been altered.
* If the warranty certificate is not presented or is lost.
