Description & Condition
Description & Condition
Fender is an American guitar and bass manufacturer founded by Leo Fender in 1946.
The American Ultra series is a top-of-the-line series within Fender's regular American-made line.
This instrument is a 2023 American Ultra Jazz Bass V, a 5-string model from that series.
The body is made of alder, the neck is maple, and the fretboard is rosewood.
The color is Ultraburst, and the binding and block position markers on the fretboard give it a luxurious feel.
This instrument has been modified with Aguilar AG 5J-HC pickups and an Aguilar OBP-3 preamp.
The AG 5J-HC is a pickup designed to replicate the sound of a 1960s Jazz Bass with hum-canceling.
It features a warm, punchy JB sound while suppressing noise.
The OBP-3 is a 3-band EQ preamp.
The mid-range frequency can be switched between 400Hz and 800Hz.
The volume knob can be pushed/pulled to switch between active and passive modes, and the tone control is also available in passive mode.
The nut width is 47.7mm, and the string spacing is 18.5mm.
This is a modern 5-string JB that allows you to easily enjoy the popular Aguilar sound.
Please give it a try.
The frets have approximately 80% remaining.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in good condition.
The body and paintwork have minor scratches all over.
