Description & Condition
Description & Condition
Tsubasa Guitar Workshop is a brand by Chiaki Tanaka, known for his work on Fullertone guitars.
He has a particularly strong reputation for creating basses inspired by vintage styles, based on his previous work.
This is The Hopper, the brand's flagship model.
As you can see, it's modeled after a JB bass.
The body is made of alder, and the fretboard is rosewood—a classic combination.
The heavy relic finish is also one of its appealing features.
It's equipped with two original J-type single-coil pickups.
You can expect a sound that combines the clarity and punch of a JB with the richness of a vintage bass.
The hardware is all GOTOH.
It boasts an open sound and playability reminiscent of a vintage instrument, along with high playability.
A masterpiece assembled with high-quality wood and expert craftsmanship.
This is a bass that passive bassists should definitely try.
The frets have approximately 80% remaining.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in good condition.
The body and paintwork show some dents, scratches, and paint peeling, but due to the aged finish, it's impossible to determine if these are later-accidental.
The electronics are in good condition.
No obvious modifications were observed.
