Description & Condition
Description & Condition
This unit is the V2 version of their flagship bass overdrive, the TASTY DRIVE.
The concept is "an overdrive that doesn't distort too much and can be used constantly, making it a 'sweet spot' for bass."
It utilizes the very edge of distortion, pushing the bassline forward whether you're fingerstyle, pick playing, or slapping.
A key feature is that it doesn't require a Wet/Dry mix, and it provides natural distortion while preserving the bass's original tone.
Of course, you can also increase the DRIVE setting for stronger distortion.
The controls consist of three knobs: DRIVE (GAIN), TONE, and LEVEL, plus a BOOST knob added in V2.
When the BOOST switch is pressed, the volume increases by the amount set by the BOOST knob.
This is a "slight boost" designed not for creating deafening volume, but for when you want to subtly stand out during solos or fills.
The LED lights up blue when the effect is ON, red when boosting, and is true bypass when OFF.
This model retains the sound and concept of V1, but features revised component selection and circuit board design.
It's a versatile unit that can be used as a core component for always-on sound shaping, or as a preamp or EQ substitute.
Please try it out!
While there are slight signs of use on the exterior, the overall condition is beautiful. It is in perfect working order.
