Description & Condition

Fender is, of course, the number one brand of electric guitars and basses.

It's loved by countless top artists, including Jaco Pastorius, Marcus Miller, and Geddy Lee. (Titles omitted)

The Fender Custom Shop is Fender's top-tier production division, staffed by skilled master builders and craftsmen.

This model is based on a 1966 Jazz Bass.

The mid-1960s Jazz Bass featured binding on the fretboard and transitioned to block inlays, representing a transitional period.

This instrument also features binding, block inlays, and a transition logo, faithfully recreating the look of that era.

The finish is Closet Classic.

Based on the concept of an instrument purchased and carefully stored at the time, it features a moderate aging process, including weather checking on the lacquer and tarnishing on the metal parts.

The body is alder, the neck is maple, and the fretboard is rosewood—a classic combination.

The color is Olympic White, and the headstock is painted the same color as the body, creating a matching headstock design.

The combination with the tortoiseshell pickguard gives it a great look.

The back of the neck is stamped "APR 09 2014".

The controls are a passive circuit with 2 volume and 1 tone.

The pickups are original.

The nut width is a slim 38.3mm, typical of a JB, making it easy to grip even for those with smaller hands.

Its strength lies in its clear, well-defined sound produced by the two single-coil pickups.

From fingerstyle to slap, you can fully enjoy the expressive capabilities unique to a JB.

A bridge cover, pickup fence, and finger rest are also included, making it perfect for those who want to enjoy it in the style of the era.

Don't miss this opportunity!

The frets have approximately 80% remaining.

The truss rod is in good condition.

The neck is in good condition.

The body and paintwork show paint peeling, dents, scratches, and weather checking, but since it's a relic finish, it's impossible to determine if these are later-acquired damages.

The electronics are in good condition.

No obvious modifications were observed.
