Description & Condition
| G&L (G&L) is an American brand founded by Leo Fender in his later years. Leo Fender, who created the Precision Bass and Jazz Bass at Fender, built upon that experience to create instruments with further improvements. The SB-2 is a model that appeared in 1982. It is said that Leo Fender himself considered it one of the easiest basses he designed to play. This is the SB-2 from the Tribute series. This series allows you to enjoy the essence of G&L's USA-made models at an affordable price. The body is made of poplar, the neck is maple, and the fingerboard is rosewood. The pickups are a PJ configuration with a split-coil in the neck position and a single-coil in the bridge position. With simple 2-volume controls, you can blend the thickness of a PB with the definition of a JB. The bridge is a Saddle-Lock bridge designed by Leo Fender. It effectively transmits string vibrations to the body, contributing to a rich sustain. The nut width is a slim 38.0mm, making for an easy-to-grip neck. This is a guitar that has recently gained recognition as a classic. Why not take this opportunity to acquire it? The frets have approximately 80% remaining. The truss rod is in good condition. The neck is in good condition. The body and paintwork show minor scratches all over. There is some tarnishing on the metal parts. The electronics are in good condition. No obvious modifications were found.
