Description & Condition
Description & Condition
Known for its robust construction and practical sound, it's a favorite among many professional musicians.
The Ottawa is an optical envelope filter, an evolution of the company's Optical Envelope Filter.
The filter reacts to picking strength, moving like an auto-wah.
Controls include ATTACK, TONE, Q, and LEVEL.
The ATTACK control adjusts the sensitivity, and the Q control adjusts the filter's bandwidth, allowing you to create sounds ranging from soft wah to sharp and distinctive.
Furthermore, it features a 3-way selector switch between HP (high-pass), BP (band-pass), and LP (low-pass).
The LP mode, in particular, preserves low frequencies well, making it a good match for bass guitars.
It handles a wide range of sounds, from 60s psychedelic to 70s funky tones.
Recommended for those who want to enjoy expressive filter sounds in funk and slap bass.
While there are slight signs of use on the exterior, the item is in overall beautiful condition. It is in perfect working order.
GIB craftsmen will rigorously inspect the item before delivery.
