This unit is the GX-1B, a significantly updated model of the GT-1B, a classic portable multi-effects pedal for bass guitar, boasting improved sound quality and operability.
Its most notable features are the 16 high-quality preamps utilizing "AIRD" technology inherited from the GT-1000 and GX-100, and the overwhelming resolution achieved through 32-bit float (floating-point) internal processing.
It eliminates the low-end thinness and flat tone typical of digital signals, outputting a thick, lifelike response similar to that of a real amplifier.
Furthermore, it supports WAV format IR data loading, allowing for the creation of more refined and sophisticated line sounds.
In terms of operability, it has been refined from a live performance perspective.
The combination of a highly visible color display and intuitive effect buttons reduces the stress of navigating deep menu hierarchies.
