Description & Condition
B.C. Rich is an American brand founded by Bernie Rico.
Known for its sharp, distinctive body shape, it has been favored by numerous artists, primarily in the hard rock and metal scenes.
The Mockingbird is the brand's flagship model, introduced in 1976.
Redesigned by Bernie Rico himself in 1978, it became the now-famous Longhorn shape.
It's a legendary instrument, played by many players across genres, including Slash, Joe Perry, and hide.
This is the base model, a Korean-made instrument.
The body is a laminate of maple and mahogany, the neck is maple, and the fingerboard is rosewood.
It combines the bright attack of maple with the warm mid-low frequencies of mahogany.
The color is NAT (natural).
The stripes of the laminated wood stand out, giving it the wild look characteristic of the Mockingbird.
This guitar features two original pickups.
The controls include two volume controls, one tone control, and a pickup selector, allowing for a wide range of tonal possibilities through different combinations.
This particular guitar has been PLEK-tuned.
The frets have been leveled and the setup performed using a specialized machine, resulting in a comfortable playing experience with minimal string buzzing even at lowered string heights.
This guitar combines a unique look with the playability enhanced by PLEK tuning.
