Description & Condition
Sire became famous for releasing basses supervised by Marcus Miller.
The quality of their guitars and basses is extremely high, and they are highly regarded not only by Marcus Miller fans but also by a wider audience.
This instrument is the M6-5 from the M series.
It's a 5-string bass with a headless construction and a multi-scale design ranging from 33 to 35 inches.
The body is made of mahogany, and the neck is a 5-piece construction of maple and mahogany.
The color is Blue Swirl.
Due to the swirl finish, the pattern varies from instrument to instrument.
The fingerboard is rosewood with an edgeless design.
It has 24 frets, and the frets are made of stainless steel.
The bridge is a Sire Headless Individual Bass Bridge.
Its tuning is done at the body end, making it compact and easy to handle.
It is equipped with two Marcus Pure-H Revolution pickups.
The preamp is a Marcus Heritage-3.
The controls include volume/tone, balance, treble, middle/middle frequency, bass, pickup variation switch, and active/passive switch.
It combines the thickness and power characteristic of humbuckers with the wide range of tonal possibilities offered by the Heritage-3 pickups.
The multi-scale design ensures even string tension, resulting in a tight sound down to the Low B.
This is a guitar we highly recommend for those seeking a modern style.
The frets have approximately 95% remaining.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in good condition.
The body and paintwork show some minor scratches, but overall it is in clean condition.
The electronics are in good condition.
No obvious modifications were observed.
