This is the SWB-ARTIST model electric upright bass.
The body features an Arched Sitka solid spruce top and maple sides and back.
The neck is made of 3-ply maple, and the fingerboard is ebony.
It is equipped with two types of pickups: magnetic and piezo.
The Landscape original PB-U magnetic pickup produces an airy sound with a presence that allows you to feel the nuances of string vibration, while the Fishman USA under-transducer outputs a sound primarily focused on a hard midrange that makes its presence felt in an ensemble. These elements can be freely combined to create a variety of sounds.
In addition to its classic-looking plywood hollow body, it features a neck angle closer to that of an electric bass than a double bass.
The combination of an airy magnetic pickup and a hard piezo pickup offers a wide range of applications, making it a great choice for those seeking a highly practical electric upright bass for live performances and recordings.
