Description & Condition

Fender is, of course, the number one brand of electric guitars and basses.

It's loved by countless top artists, including Jaco Pastorius, Marcus Miller, and Geddy Lee. (Titles omitted)

The Precision Bass, introduced in 1951 as the world's first fretted solid-body electric bass, has been loved by bassists worldwide for over half a century.

Fender Japan is a discontinued brand, but many artists still use their instruments, and its high quality is still highly regarded.

This model is a PB57, a reproduction of the 1957 PB style.

Based on the specifications listed in the original catalog, it's identified as a PB57-53.

The body is made of basswood, and the neck and fingerboard are maple.

The pickups have been replaced with Semour Duncan SBP-3s.

The pickguard, pots, jack, and capacitors have also been replaced, and the wiring has been replaced accordingly.

This bass is characterized by its powerful, robust low end and rich, open midrange, typical of a Precision Bass.

It fits seamlessly into a wide range of genres, including R&B, rock, and pop.

The frets have approximately 70% remaining.

The truss rod is in good condition.

The neck is in good condition.

The body and paintwork show minor scratches and dents. Some paint chipping is visible. There is a crack at the neck joint, but this does not affect normal use.

The electronics are in good condition.

The pickguard has been replaced. The pickups have been replaced with Semour Duncan SBP-3s. The potentiometers, jack, and capacitors have been replaced. The wiring has also been replaced accordingly.
