The Jazz Bass was released as a higher-end model than the Precision Bass.

This model is the JB62-75US from the highly acclaimed but now-defunct Fender Japan brand.
As the US model number suggests, it's a higher-end model equipped with US-made pickups as standard.
The body is made of alder, and the fingerboard is rosewood—classic specifications.
