Sadowsky is a high-end New York brand with top-tier musicians such as Marcus Miller and Will Lee as clients. (Titles omitted)
Previously, the Metroline Express was manufactured in Japan, but as Warwick took over the distribution of Sadowsky products, manufacturing shifted to a factory in China.
While keeping the selling price down, high quality is maintained, making it a very unique product in its price range.
Initially, the Metroline Express series did not have the Sadowsky logo, but this has now been changed.
This is the Verdine White model, which is already available in Germany.
The body is made of Okume, the neck is made of Roasted Maple, and the fingerboard is made of Morado or Pauferro.
The body shape is the familiar Dinky type.
It has a worldwide reputation.
The pickups are a PJ combination.
The bridge pickup is a hum-canceling type, so there is no noise even when used alone or in combination with the PJ.
I've always thought Sadowsky PJs have a great balance, and that impression hasn't changed much with this unit.
While maintaining the characteristic thickness of a PJ, it features a clear sound with a slightly reduced midrange when mixed.
Using the familiar 2-band boost preamp on top of that creates a very pleasing sound. It strongly embodies the Sadowsky character.
