Bacchus is a Japanese brand based in Nagano.
It's a brand under the Deviser umbrella, which owns a large guitar factory in Asuka. The high quality, stemming from the factory's in-house production, is highly regarded by many musicians.
This instrument is a 5-string active model of the "Venus," a unique body shape released from the brand's top-of-the-line Handmade Series.
The body is made of alder, the neck of maple, and the fingerboard of rosewood.
It boasts a beautiful look with binding on the fingerboard and body.
The electronics are a simple active configuration with 2 volume controls and a 2-band EQ.
The sound is characterized by a strong, solid midrange.
The 2-band EQ allows for sound shaping with a scooped midrange.
This instrument offers excellent playability thanks to its high-level woodworking techniques and an easy-to-handle sound.
