Bacchus is a Japanese brand based in Nagano, Japan.
It's a brand under the Deviser umbrella, which owns a large guitar factory called the Asuka Factory. The high quality of their guitars, thanks to their in-house factory production, is highly regarded by many musicians.
The WOODLINE is the flagship model from the HANDMADE SERIES, positioned as their top-of-the-line series.
While based on the Jazz Bass, it boasts many unique features, such as a modern dinky body and special finishes, making it an extremely original model.
This is a limited edition model from the 2022 Deviser One Day event.
The body top is Bear-claw Spruce, and the back is Mahogany.
The neck is Maple, and the fingerboard is Ebony.
The body is a semi-hollow design with F-holes.
It has an acoustic feel.
As expected of a limited edition model, the wood composition is somewhat unusual.
The pickups are Bacchus JB ALVII.
Needless to say, this guitar boasts the brand's signature high playability and an incredibly smooth playing feel.
The powerful low end and crisp high end characteristic of a JB bass are pleasing to the ear, and its robust, tight tone matches any genre of music.
A superb instrument combining looks and practicality.
