Xotic is a brand founded in LA by Japanese builder Hiro Miura.
In Japan, many famous musicians use Xotic guitars, including Yoshiki Takahashi, BJ from indigo jam unit, and Katsushi Morioka. Internationally, many famous musicians such as Chuck Rainey, Rhonda Smith, and Travis Carlton use Xotic guitars. (Titles omitted)
The XP series, manufactured in Japan, has been highly regarded, especially among studio workers.
The body is made of alder, and the fingerboard is rosewood—a classic combination.
The Shewood Green body, with its very thin lacquer finish and realistic light aging treatment, is particularly striking.
The pickups and preamp are original Xotic designs.
Unusually for a PB-style guitar, it features a preamp.
This preamp is highly praised for its minimal difference in character between on and off states, resulting in a very natural sound.
This characteristic is also useful for PB guitars, allowing for fine-tuning and impedance conversion while maintaining a passive feel.
Passive operation is also possible by pulling up the volume pot. The active mode delivers a fast, dynamic sound, while the passive mode offers a first-class, mellow tone.
This guitar boasts excellent playability and a refined sound, resulting in a practical and well-crafted instrument.
The frets have approximately 90% remaining.

The neck is in good condition.
The body and paintwork have some scratches overall, but due to the aged finish, it's impossible to determine if these were later acquired.
