This is the FX25B, a classic envelope filter essential for funky bass sounds.
DOD's envelope filters are famously known for being used by Flea of the Red Hot Chili Peppers. (Titles omitted)
While retaining the powerful wah sound of the legendary FX25, this B model adds a Blend control, which is extremely important for bassists.
Filter pedals tend to lose bass frequencies, but because you can adjust the mix of the original sound and the effect sound, you can achieve a powerful wah effect while maintaining a thick, solid bottom end.
The thick, musical effect unique to analog circuitry is an excellent match for fingerstyle and slap funk playing, reminiscent of that growling Red Hot Chili Peppers sound.
This filter pedal is a reliable tool for live performance, combining ease of use with a thick, impactful sound.
There are scratches and stains, and the item shows overall signs of use. It is in good working order.
