Description & Condition
Music Man, a brand founded by Leo Fender, has been loved by bassists worldwide.
Even after being taken over by Ernie Ball, its reputation remains unchanged, and it continues to be widely accepted by modern bassists.
Many artists, including Louis Johnson and Flea, are known to use Music Man basses. (Titles omitted)
The StingRay is a classic model that enjoys overwhelming popularity within the brand.
It's no exaggeration to say that it's one of the most popular basses in the world, alongside Fender's Jazz Bass and Precision Bass.
This is a 1993 4-string model.
It features a 6-bolt neck joint and an oil-finished neck.
The body is likely ash, and the neck and fretboard are Birdseye Maple.
The pickups and preamp are original, and it has a 2-band EQ.
This bass boasts a powerful attack, clear definition, and the unique, distinctive sound characteristic of the StingRay.
For those seeking this sound, the StingRay is an indispensable model.
The frets have approximately 70% remaining.
The truss rod is in good condition.
The neck is in good condition. The D string tuning machine resonates, but this is not picked up by the amplifier and does not affect normal playing.
The body and paintwork show scattered small dents of about 3.0mm. There are two paint cracks of about 35.0-40.0mm on the side of the body. Some slight tarnishing is visible on the metal parts.
The electronics are in good condition.
The pickguard has been replaced. One pickup screw has been replaced.
